what you’ll experience with us…
At The Anaesthetic Network, we represent anaesthetists in private practice, ensuring that you are fully supported and informed as you prepare for surgery. For elective or scheduled procedures, your surgeon will typically notify us of your upcoming surgery. Once we receive your booking details, we will reach out to you, either by phone or email, to introduce ourselves and guide you through the next steps.
We will ask you to complete a preoperative questionnaire, which allows your anaesthetist to review your medical history and, with your consent, request any necessary information from other health professionals. This ensures that your anaesthetist can plan the safest and most effective anaesthetic for your procedure.
As part of our communication, we will provide you with detailed instructions regarding your medications, fasting times, and any applicable anaesthetic fees. Should there be any out-of-pocket expenses, we will communicate them clearly ahead of time, ensuring you are well-informed.
We are here to support you every step of the way, ensuring you feel informed and prepared for your upcoming procedure.
To help you get started, we’ve provided some general patient anaesthesia advice. However, rest assured that you will receive specific advice tailored to your situation from your assigned anaesthetist during our preoperative communication.

About Anaesthesia
Anaesthesia is a medical practice designed to ensure you are pain-free and comfortable during surgery or other medical procedures. Depending on the type of procedure, it can be localised to a specific area or affect your entire body. Our anaesthetists carefully choose the best method to keep you comfortable and safe.
